A Proof event on 5th February 2015 – Generating national press coverage on cyber security

by AprilSix Proof

Throughout 2015, Proof will be hosting events for communications professionals that work at science, engineering and technology organisations. These events aim to offer the opportunity for experts to have an open and honest discussion on topics that matter to them.

Our first event is titled ‘I want to be in the FT: Are you ready for national press coverage?’ and is a breakfast roundtable at which cyber security communications professionals will explore how to prepare for, generate, and use national media coverage.

At this event, we will:

*Discuss the distinct challenges of being newsworthy enough to generate national press coverage in a booming and crowed cyber security market with Richard Moss, Founder, Proof Communication

*Share a successful case study on building a communications strategy that allowed a global cyber security trade body to grow its reputation through a carefully timed approach to national media by Lyndsay Turley, Head of Communications & Public Affairs, (ISC)2

*Have an open discussion under the Chatham House Rule sharing challenges and offering solutions

We are hosting the event at the Ham Yard Hotel, Firmdale’s latest addition to their exclusive individually designed hotels in Central London. The event begins at 9.30am with breakfast, discussion starting at 9.45am and ends at the convenient time of 10.45am so that attendees can jet off for their other meetings.

This event is free but spaces are limited. If you are interested in attending please get in contact with our Business Development Director, Jennifer Johnson. Her email is Jennifer@proofcommunication.com and phone number is (0)7944 792 859.
